About This Course

Continue developing your Dutch with our A2 Pre-Intermediate Dutch course. This course builds on your A1 knowledge and helps you communicate more independently and confidently in everyday Dutch.

You will develop your understanding of important Dutch grammar and sentence structures, including the Perfectum with zijn, separable verbs, reflexive verbs, complex conjunctions, embedded questions, aan het, zullen, and zouden.

You will also learn practical Dutch related to cycling, public transport, hobbies, daily routines, buildings, places, directions, opinions, advice, and other everyday situations.

Throughout the course, you will practise listening and speaking while strengthening your ability to understand and use Dutch in more practical and independent communication.

Develop your A2 Dutch through practical topics such as cycling and public transport while learning useful grammar for talking about past experiences, future plans, and everyday activities.

Daily Routines, Places and Giving Directions
Build your A2 Dutch through daily routines, hobbies, frequency, reflexive verbs, and practical language for places and directions. You will also learn to connect ideas and make promises in Dutch.

Questions, Situations and Everyday Communication
Develop your A2 communication skills through indirect questions, everyday situations, speaking practice, and practical sentence structures for reacting and expressing probability.

Opinions, Advice and Practical Communication
Build your confidence in everyday Dutch by learning to ask for and give opinions and advice while practising useful sentence structures for communication and everyday situations.

Revision and A2 Assessment
Review the key grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills covered throughout the A2 course and apply your knowledge through final revision and assessment.
